Bio pore, Student Action for the Environment

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Dozens of students Telkom University (Tel-U) show concern for the environment. This is realized by the action of making the bio pore hole in the girls’ dormitory Telkom University, Sunday (28/9). This activity was initiated by BEM FT Tel-U working with the community “Go Green Generation ‘(3G).

According to the Chairman of the BEM FT, Nugroho Ibnu the purpose of this activity was to prevent the area around campus from flooded, especially the rainy season which will arrive soon. Besides that he also asked all students of Tel-U to intervene to maintain and care for the environment around the campus.

“Of course, aiming to prevent flooding, especially in October is already the rainy season. We also invite students to not get caught up in the routine course. There’s time to lend a hand, care in maintaining and caring for the environment, “said Ibnu, student of Informatics Engineering.

Environmental care action was supported by the college through the Directorate of Student Affairs is providing support in funding. Furthermore BEM FT manage the money to buy the tools needed to make bio-pore holes.

Ibnu added, the results of the BEM FT acquired five land drilling tool, 50  bio pores tube and other materials used to manufacture these bio pores hole. He targeted within two weeks of 50 points bio pores embedded in Telkom University.

“Our target in two weeks there fifty bio pores finished. Considering the month of October has also begun UTS so we pursued before that, “he said. (Purel / DH)
