Telkom University Student Support Indonesian Non-Waste

Bandung, Telkom University – As the first private college in UI Green Metric, Telkom University routinely conduct environmental themed activities to increase community awareness of the importance of cleanliness academicians. A couple days ago the instigators students of Telkom University, Gemarawana, in commemoration of the National Waste Awareness Day conducted the clean-up action Area in Telkom University campus on Tuesday (21.02.17).

Telkom University Rector, Prof. Ir. Mochammad Ashari positively response to this activity, he revealed that every community needed to have an awareness of the environment, especially the waste, “every citizenin Telkom University needed to have an awareness of the environment. I actively support the movement of clean campus “he said.

Agree with Ashari, Vice RectorIV, Dr. M. Yahya Arwiyah said that the expession of campus environment care was actually quite simple, just throw the trash in its place “We need to build mutual awareness through the care about the cleanliness of the campus by involving the entire academic community, so simply put trash in its place and remind each other”

This activity also aimed to support the movement of Indonesia Non Waste 2020, all participants combing almost all Faculties in Telkom University. The activities planned to clean the campus will be routinely carried out on every Friday morning and afternoon.
